ZANDER > BOREDOM

How many people go to the mall, Zander wondered, just to sit there because they have nothing better to do. Back home he would be out doing whatever with his friends, but here he just sat in the small area reserved for Starbucks shoppers, Sharpie out and doodling on the faces in the newspapers laid out for people to read while drinking their coffee.
It was an island surrounded by low walls topped with frosted windows. Past it swarmed an array of shoppers, from squealing children to old ladies with walkers. Not that Zander was really watching them; he was busy drawing an eyepatch onto some old man on page five. Every sheet featured at least one colored picture and it opened like a book. Zander didn't bother to read any of the articles, since for one thing he didn't care and for another he didn't like reading in French much. True, he did go to school in France where all his classes were in their native language, but for all his life he'd spoken English with his friends, family, ennemies, pets, teachers and waiters. So, bascially everyone. Unless he was mocking them or insulting them discreetly.
He glanced down at his hand and quickly drew a coffee cup on it. Above that a speech bubble and in that a skull and cross bones. Zander really wasn't fond of coffee, but it was requiered that he buy something to gain access to the island. It was like some cruel sort of initiation. Maybe that was their intention; we all know that Starbucks plans to take over the world.

Hannah walked around,she looked into the windows, she looked down at her watch and realized it wa time to go.Drat she fumed.
She walked out and spotted somebody on the bench, she thought she knew him but wasn;t sure. She decided to see if she was right or no. She started to walk towards him.

Zander glanced at his cup of coffee and wondered if he should've asked for a water and if that would make him count as a customer. Shrugging, he plugged his nose with one hand and raised the paper cup to his lips. Despite the amount of sugar, vanilla powder, chocolate powder and other powders laid out in front of the island, it still tasted disgusting. Maybe it tasted even more disgusting.
He swallowed, placed the cup down on the table rather hard and leaned back, swallowing the air thankfully. Opening his eyes he looked up and spotted Hannah on the other side of the frosted windows. Recognition was immideate.
Hannah Stone. Prep goddess. Queen Bee. Cheerleader.
"Hey," He called, giving her a kind smile. He knew her by her status, and yet he didn't care that he had none. Other than maybe 'the new kid'. "Hannah, wanna sit down?"

Fai & Chris desided to go to the mall. Fai didn't like it so much there, but Chris talked her into going. "Hey isn't that Hannah Stone?" Chris asked. Fai looked & said "Eww..Let's go before she go's into 'Prep' mode."

"Hey Zander! Whats up?Sure,I'll sit down."she replied as she flounced down and plopped next to Zander.
She smiled and then saw the coffee cup.
"You drink coffee?How can you stand that stuff??"she said as she wrinkled her nose.
She thought she had heard her name and turned her head to see Fai and Chris.
"Bonjour you guys!"she called with a smile.

"Not usually," He admitted. Then he followed her gaze and spotted Fai and Chris. He smiled at them and called, in French just to be impressive, "Hey, bonjour! Voulez vous venir et assir avec nous?" He wasn't sure that Hannah wanted those two to join them, since she'd done nothing more than greet them, but Ander didn't mind. The way he thought it was the more the merrier.

[Fai]

"Eh?" Fai said. "Yo~" Chris said. "What's up?!" He said running over. Fai desided not to leave him alone, so she walked over not saying anything.

"Hey, you go to school at L'ancero, right?" He asked, though he was sure that was how Hannah knew them.

[Fai]

"That is correct." Fai said. "Yes~I'm Chris & this is Fai." He said. Fai for some reason was glaring at Hannah.

"Nice to meet you," He said. Then he noticed Fai glaring at Hannah and opened his mouth to say something about it and then decided not to. It was none of his buisness anyways. "So, um... Why're you here?"

"Hi people."Hannah said.She looked at Chris,and gave him a the peace sign.She smiled at Fai.She knew that Fai hated her.But din't give a shit.

[Fai]

"Hannah-Ama." Said Fai. Then she got up & walked away. "Um. Sorry Hannah, she's rude at first." Chris said.

Ander glanced from Hannah and Chris to Fai and then back, debating wheter he should go after Fai and see what was wrong or stay with Chris and Hannah. Making up his mind he shrugged. "She'll get over it," He decided out loud.

[Fai]

"Yeah...You get used to it...I put up with it every day..." Chris said.

Hannah laughed.
Let's hope she does get over it.
Hannah's eyes gazed over to the window in the mall and the day was brilliant.
Hey!You guys wanna come over to my place for a swim?The weather is perfect!she exclaimed.
Even though her parenst were not there,iot wouldn't matter,it was her house anyways that she lived in.Her parents had their own house in the Isles.
So what do you guys say?A nice swim at Stone mansion or a boring day at the mall?she said,glancing at everyone.Even Fai.
